This was brilliant. It was a delight to divine the logic at each step, and even more fun to get to use it again and again. One of the more fun mini-puzzle hunts I've done. Great work, koo_koo.
FYI, I came here after I posted Playcebo's "12 Word Searches" (also on itch.io) to the National Puzzler's League Slack, and another puzzler posted this in response. Folks might like to try that word search puzzle series too.
Done with the first two parts (in the icely version, but downloaded this too, and I see it applies here too), and now going through and trying to thoroughly figure out how everything applies.

Ok, well I loved it! Kinda glad I used icely's built-in hints to steer me away from doing too much nonsense with the third part. Like, I do feel like that was gettable without it, especially since I'm a big puzzle fan and that's totally the kind of thing I've seen, but I just didn't know what kind of puzzle creator you are. I look forward to future creations!
i found the rules at the bottom. but in chapter 3 in the BW W G W Y W W OY OB OY OY W (OB) BW OY puzzle seems to be 2 solutions, veins and teins which means: "a monetary unit of Kazakhstan, worth one-hundredth of a tenge. plural." it is a bit obscure but a word nonetheless.
Thanks, good catch! I deleted the orange in the Google slides and there was an OB under it, so I guess it snuck in there somehow while I was copy and pasting :T
